Sadly in the world we live in today, we have to admit that not everybody can be the champion to come salvage the weak and weary. No, its a man eats world kind of thing going on... ever stop to question why there are countless street urchins crawling in the streets of Nairobi? i bet not... why? ignorance is bliss for most of us and if something does not involve you, you walk past it thinking someone else will salvage the situation. I know bloggers nowadays are known to reveal the latest gossip and dirt but most people overlook the background story... making the best out of the worst has become a story for every successful person. Tell me one person who is on the limelight and doesn't have an aaaaw story or a pitiful tale to tell about their background. How they crawled from the gutters and made it to the top. This is all a cliche and sorry to say we all buy this sort of stories when we are fed. This is naivety that has proven to be growing at an alarming rate among Kenyans. I am not naming names but it is a food for thought... do we always make the best out of the worst as humans or is it just a common story written to be told to gain some pity and become a role model? The next story is being written and some are true and sad while others are false and sad since they have to go through all the trouble to cook a lie to be seen as who they are not. When will all this hypocrisy end? Live your life the way you see it is right but at the end of the day if judgement was to befall you today and the whole world was to watch your whole life from scratch... would you give a memorable speech laughing with the crowd afterwards or would you just hide in the crowd denying all the acts they see?
